Park Picnic & Games Day

Community Park Picnic & Games Day

Organise a casual picnic in a local park and invite families and individuals from the community. Set up a few simple games like sack races, tug-of-war, or frisbee to encourage interaction and fun. Encourage participants to bring their own picnic meals, but provide light snacks, drinks, and perhaps a few communal dishes like sandwiches or fruit platters. Promote the event through local notice boards, church announcements, and social media.

A picnic day allows the community to gather in a relaxed setting, fostering relationships and providing a day of enjoyment with little expense. It encourages fellowship and creates a welcoming atmosphere for all ages.

  • Snacks, drinks, and communal food (either donated or purchased)
