Parents Night Out
Host a “Parents’ Night Out” to offer free childcare for local families, allowing parents to enjoy a stress-free evening.
Schedule a date and time for the event, and promote it to the community through flyers, social media, and word of mouth. Secure a safe, child-friendly space at the church or a nearby facility. Recruit volunteers, including your church’s children’s ministry team, to supervise the children and lead fun activities like games, crafts, and movies. Provide light snacks and drinks for the kids. Make sure all volunteers have current Working with Children Checks (WWCC). During the event, parents can drop off their kids for a few hours and enjoy a well-deserved break.
Offering a Parents’ Night Out gives parents a chance to recharge, while their children enjoy a fun and safe environment. It helps build relationships with families in the community and showcases the church’s support for local families.
