New Here Night

Host a “New Here” Night for new members of the community or church to connect with the congregation and leadership.

Organise a casual dinner or tea for newcomers to the area or church. Invite them to meet the pastors, staff, and key leaders, and provide them with information about the church’s activities and services. Include an introduction to the community and opportunities for involvement. Serve simple meals, coffee, and desserts, and create a welcoming atmosphere. Consider setting up a Q&A session to address any questions they might have about the church.

A “New Here” Night helps integrate new community members and fosters a sense of belonging. It also introduces them to the church’s values, activities, and leadership, making it easier for them to feel connected and get involved.
