Neighbour Care Team
A dedicated group within the church that regularly checks in on elderly or vulnerable neighbours, offering friendship, prayer, and practical support.
Organise a team of volunteers to visit or call individuals who may be isolated, such as the elderly, new parents, or those recovering from illness. Provide assistance with small tasks like grocery shopping, lawn care, or transportation to appointments. Create a system for regular check-ins and encourage volunteers to build genuine relationships. Partner with local services to offer additional resources if needed.
Many people in our communities experience loneliness or struggle with daily tasks. A Neighbour Care Team provides meaningful connections, meeting both practical and emotional needs while demonstrating Christ’s love in action.
